BIO

COLE DASENBROCK

Cole started racing a go cart in 2018 when he was 7. His first Bandolero race was a year later. By 2020 he was racing full time at Stateline Speedway where he took 2nd place in points and at Wenatchee Valley Super Oval where he took 9th.

In 2021 he placed 3rd at Stateline Speedway, 4th at Wenatchee, and was the 1st place Northwest Bandit Champion. Cole is the Inex Washington State Bandit Champion and placed 5th Inex Bandits in the Western US.

Besides racing, Cole has loved wrestling since he was 3 year old. He enjoys soccer, hunting, and fishing.

Cole's favorite subjects in school are PE and Math. He loves to draw and wants to be an architect when he grows up.

Family is very important to Cole. He has 4 older sisters, 2 brother-in-laws, 2 nieces and 2 nephews and another niece on the way.

He loves to travel, wake surf and tube with his family, as well as camp.

Cole finished 2nd in the Main Event tonight after starting the feature in P3.
The opening laps were rough, with two cautions in the first three laps causing nearly a 45-minute delay before racing resumed.

On Lap 18, he briefly slipped back to P3, but just a couple laps later battled his way back into P2, where he would finish the race.

Cole is running as a Young Lion, and he is grouped up with the Semi Pro. He qualified P3 at 17.380.

Practice went well today. Best session was 2 of 3 at 17.343. Last years at the Chilly Willy, Cole’s best qualifying time over the 3 days was 17.706. So definitely getting more experience, speed, and confidence with every session.
Qualifying starts about 1pm tomorrow. The weekend will be streamed on FloRacing.

Dillon Motor Speedway New Year’s Bash Race Recap!
𝑁𝑒𝑤 𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑘. 𝑁𝑒𝑤 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑛𝑔𝑒. 𝑁𝑒𝑤 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑒𝑡𝑖𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑠.
Friday was all about practice and learning the track. Saturday came along, and I was ready to race just to get rained out. I didn’t think we were going to get on track, but the officials made it work. Qualifying P16, after a hard-fought race, I finished P11.
On Sunday, I was ready and excited to go racing. Messed up in qualifying and came in at P20 and got put in the B Main. Bounced back with a 2nd place finish with a transfer spot to the A main. Starting P20 rear-start, I clawed my way up to 14th.

Overall, a pretty successful weekend for my first time at the track and first race on the East Coast. Super excited to go back, keep learning, and get after it even harder next time!
